After being beat by Woodley Consistently last season we were slightly anxious going into this game. But a fantastic Team effort saw a tremendous first half, players kept to the game plan and the passing was out of this world. Louis Hurst bossed the midfield and sprayed passes out wide to vice captain Matty Culley who jinxed passed opponents. Marcus Richards made some clever runs and caused the opposition allsorts of trouble. A magical corner from Culley saw Max Gilson put the ball wide of the mark. The first half ended 0-0 however Inter Macc were definately the better team. The second half saw Woodley come out the blocks and stern defending by Nat Stevens and Joe Ritchie kept them at bay. Josh Thorpe ended the deadlock with a superb solo effort but this did little to tame Woodley. Superb goalkeeping by our captain Max Turner (Max Van Der Turner) caused frustration amongst the Woodley ranks. Some unfortunate defending by led to Woodley getting the equalizer. The remaining 5 mins saw both teams working hard resulting in few chances. Great display from both teams-Well done!!

Natalie was awarded man of the match after a great display of defensive courage and she was always looking to pass the ball intelligently. Well Done.
