After a subdued start by Inter Macc this morning Didsbury took a deserved lead with their centre forward racing onto a through ball and slotting it past Aled who had denied him on a similar chance a few minutes earlier. At this point the midfield and defence had not got going. However, the goal seemed to spark the lads into action and we replied with two quick goals from Hayden Fairhurst and Joe Turner before the break giving us a 2-1 lead at Half Time. In the second half the lads started to play and soon increased their lead to 5-1 with goals from George Phelan, Will Hodgson and Hayden again. However, to be fair on Didsbury the had looked lively the whole match when going forward and they managed to score three second half goals including a couple of very good finishes. However, we matched this with three of our own from Will and Hayden (2). An OK performance and maybe a bit of a reaction to last weeks fine display at Bolly. However, special mention must go to Man of the Match Hayden Fairhurst who scored 4 goals today making it 7 in the last three weeks.
